He is drop dead gorgeous! On the cell count, that's not a huge deal as long as it cures itself. I reccomend having a vet do more bloodwork and cell counts in a few months. He could potentailly have an iron defficency, but that can be fixed with permanent daily supplements.

Notes: This stallion is one of the best-trained horses I have ever ridden. He keeps completely collected and only requires a soft touch of the hand or heels to do what you want. He has incredible flexibility for a pony. You have lots of gorgeous pictures and took the time to layout his foals information and pictures. Great pony! Horridly smart and horridly good looking! I can see why he's won so many halter classes. He's great over fences, and for a pony his gaits are beyond excellent! He's a little studish and hard headed occasionally, but that comes with his being a pony stud. He's a blast to ride and even more fun to halter I'd bet. Overall this pony is fabulous.
Wow this boy is absolutely amazing. I don't think I’ve ever seen a horse quite like him before. As soon as i saw his picture i knew he was going to get an A grade. Now let me tell you why. This stallion has an awesome little face, with expressive eyes, and a little bit of a dish which adds elegance to his facial structure. He has a thick jowl and and cheek which, along with his incredibly well developed neck, makes him looks very powerful. His neck is thick, well set, and arching, and he flexes at the poll very nicely. He has a muscular shoulder that is well angled, and a deep wide chest. He has a short back with well muscled hindquarters, and his legs are clean, hardy and straight. This is what gives him great conformation, and when a horse has great conformation he will usually have a great gait, which this stallion definitely does. He uses his hindquarters to push him forward and has great front leg action. He is well balanced and graceful. This stallion can be described as being light as a feather, or light on the ground because he seems to float when he moves. This stallion is very eye-catching, and appealing and above all amazingly beautiful.

Comments - The page and layout were fine, but I felt that it would have been much more visually exciting if you added a bit more color or font variation. Grif had excellant gaits, truly beautiful pony. He lost some points on realism, because of his pictures. The picture of the hunter pony don't appear to be a Welsh, or atleast not a Welsh with the heavy topline as Grif is depicted as having in most of his other pictures. His conformation was lovely. He had a fairly heavy crest to his neck (although this is to be expected considering he is a Welsh and a stud), for which I deducted a point. Fabulous pony. If I had someone to breed to him, I would!
Commentary: Bailefour Gryphin is an excellent example of a welsh mountain pony. He has large eyes, wide nostrils, a short stocky body, and a deep chest. Those charicteristics are common in the welsh mountain pony breed. He is an easy to handle horse, with a "simple" disposition. He seems to do well in all surroundings, and preforms his best no matter what. He has a willing to do it attitude, which definately shows in the show ring. He has produced nice offspring, and has passed on his good looks to them. This boy has definately lived out his life to the fullest, and will continue to do so!

"Bailefour Gryphin" is one of the best horses (or ponies for that matter) I have seen recently. I am never impressed by quantity of foals, but when all are such high quality, a stallion can't help but score well in this area. He is absolutely lovely in almost all areas. He was free jumped at 3'6 and driven. He has tremendous jumping style, with high, tight knee and very careful and safe with his rider. He is also a very stylish, lovely driving horse that knows his job well. I can easily admit I know very little about Welsh pedigrees, but I recognized many lovely ponies contained in this pedigree. His conformation overall is decent, however, his breed-characteristic neck/throatlatch area and slight downhill build will be a detriment in say, the upper levels of dressage. He has a long, ground covering trot and canter, somewhat atypical of ponies. His walk was a bit shortstrided, but by no means terrible. He has a lovely masculine build and excellent breed type-I was able to tell what breed he was without even looking at stats. Finally, I realized he was an extremely accomplished show pony-I was very impressed by his record. P.S.-I liked this guy so much I am considering booking at least two breedings to cross with my arabian mares

I judge very hard on conformations, however this little pony has a perfect score. His body is proportioned exactly the way it should, his neck is not too long and not too short, perfect which is rare in ponies, most are too long or too short. He's legs aren’t stubby or gangly, his back isn’t too long or too short. Very beautiful, with large intelligent pony eyes and pert little ears.
Gaits: 30/40
Bailefour Gryphin has a nice smooth trot, he likes to trot, and you can tell because he is always very relaxed and supple. However he doesn’t settle down for a nice walk, he always tries to break into a trot, and I took points off for that. Also his canters aren't the smooth rocking horse canter but they are a little bit choppy. Also instead of breaking into a nice canter from the halt, walk, or trot, he first trots incredibly fast, before the extra nudge needed to canter.
