Grif was imported from Scotland three years ago, where he competed extensively in halter, hunting, driving, and jumping. He has won several titles and achieved numerous show championships since then as well. He is a great little jumper, safe and sound but with lots of guts, never refuses and loves new challenges. EXCELLENT driving pony, he has a great gait for it and is flashy to watch and easy to handle. Turns well and really can extend himself.Good child pony as well as small adult, he is very sweet and never gets excited around mares, many have mistaken him for a gelding. Was trained in dressage upon his arrival to the United States, and he has taken to it like a dream. Competed in a limited number of events and done excellently. Has been bred overseas, but some of his records were lost. Excellent conformation with good bone and compact body. Has foaled some WONDERFUL ponies excelling domestically and overseas in all disciplines. Please take a look at his pictures- you can really see the development of Grif as he ages from the dark gray of inexperience and uncertainty to the white of a champion angel, pure in both heart and spirit. This boy is only getting better with age, and he is still going strong in competitions. |
