"GRANDMA'S GARDEN" of POETRY |
TO.... |
In Grandma's Garden there is love and joy For each grandchild there whether girl or boy What can I say that can describe each one like a mirror they reflect my daughter-my son. From the youngest to the oldest it doesn't matter to me They bring to their grandma a life full of glee Suprise set of twins or the ones I can't hold I say I've been blessed with riches untold. In Grandma's Garden we find tulips, daisies, and roses with hair like pure copper and cute little noses Then there are butterflies flying around And the sweet smell of daffodils picked from the ground The sun shines bright and the grandchildren play Then go back to their parents at the end of the day This is the time that some say are the golden years When Grandma sees her grandkids through laughter and tears In Grandma's Garden for however long that it's there You will see her always laughing and saying a prayer For this is the most wonderful place she could be Where there is comfort and joy and love unconditionally. written by Grandma Karen Tilbury 2001 |
