OUR DAY AT THE BEACH

Golden sands beneath my toes
The sun in the sky like a pale yellow rose
Water splashing against the shore
A day to remember forevermore
The sound of children as they play
A look and a smile says all we need to say
And later on when the day is done
We`ll reflect on the day and know we had fun
And side by side we`ll walk the beach
The moon and the stars within our reach
We lift our eyes up to the sky
And we end our day with a wondrous sigh
