LOVE HURTS

This thing they call love, is it a game?
It seems to cause nothing but heartache and pain
Love is floating in the air
Love can lead to hurt, so beware!
Love can touch a heart or two
Protect your heart, if it touches you
Don't take the chance of being used
Protect that heart from being abused
You may listen to words that make you feel nice
Just turn to Him, and heed His advice
He has a plan for everyone
He will help us endure whatever may come
He knows what every one of us need
And if it is love, He will send it indeed
Enjoy your life day by day
Enjoy and accept what He sends your way
There may be times when your lonely and blue
But you're not alone, He is right there with you
I hope you will listen to what I say
And protect your heart in every way
But don't give up hoping for love to appear
When love finally finds you, it will be tender and dear
