FINAL GOODBYE

I write these words with a tear in my eye
Because these words are words of goodbye
I'll never forget the love that we shared
Please don't forget how much I cared
I really thought you were the one for me
But you made me see it could never be
Life is too short to be riddled with doubt
It's time to move forward, find out what lifes all about
I have so much inside that I need to give
I need to find someone with whom to live
I hope you'll be happy in whatever you do
But for me to go on, I must forget about you
And so as I wipe this last tear from my eye
I wish you a gentle and final goodbye
