FINALLY HOME

I prayed and prayed to God above
To send to me a special love
I`ve gone through life all alone
Always searching for a love of my own
I looked and looked, but could never find
A man to equal the image in my mind
And then one day, when I was down
Something made me turn around
I turned around and you were there
I stopped to look, or did I stare?
The image from my mind, stood looking at me
You held out your hand and set me free
Free from lonliness, free from searching
You made my heart and soul begin to sing
It was oh so easy falling in love with you
Because I`ve loved you my whole life through
I never thought that you would come
But you are here, now I am home.
