Gift Of Time......
This morning I will take the time.....
To let you wake up softly, all wrapped up in your blankets.I will take the time to hold you until you are ready to face the day ahead.
I will take the time to let you choose what to wear and smile and say how beautiful you really are.
I will take the time to step over the laundry and pick you up and take you to the park to play.
I will take the time to let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together,and forget about the dishes in the sink.
I will take the time to unplug the phone turn off the tv and sit in the backyard and blow bubbles.
I will take the time to be proud of you instead of worrying what you will be like when you grow up.
I will take the time to let you help me make the cookies instead of telling you to move out of the way.
Tonight before you lay down to sleep,
I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.
I will take the time to relax on the porch with you and show you the starts.
I will take the time to hold you in my arms and tell you a story about the day you were born.
I will take the time and miss my favorite tv show and snuggle to you til you fall asleep.
I will take the time to tell you that you make my everyday worth while and how much I love you.
Let this be a reminder to how precious our children are.
For the parents who are searching for thier missing children,not to ever give up.
For the parents of a child who can only visit thier child at a graveside instead of thier childrens bedroom,may you find peace and strength.
For the parents who are in hospital rooms visiting thier sick innocent children,may you find the courage to keep fighting and never let go.
For those parents who can tuck thier child in every night,hold them alittle longer and a little tighter.Thank God for them, and ask him for nothing,except one more day........one more night..
