Tomorrow
If tomorrow the world came crashing down,
And you were out of luck,
Would you reach out to your friend,
Where do you put that much trust?
Is God the one you've been looking for
To be that one true friend?
Or have you pushed Him out
Of your mind and your heart?
Well, look to Him now,
As you face the world alone,
And the emptiness in your heart will melt away.

If tomorrow the world became peaceful,
And you were "top dog;"
Would you remember anyone
You were rude to just to get there?
Will they forgive you for what you've done?
Or better yet, will God forgive
Your faults to others as you've been doing to them?
Would you even want him to treat you the same way as you treated them?
Or would you want Him to treat you better than you treated His only son?

Tomorrow can hold a lot of promise;
Or it can hold your demise.
But through it all, will you trust the one who loves you,
And no matter what, cares about you?
As you make this desion, remember
Remember that the short way is often eventually the hard way.
And remember that the right way is often not popular.
But someday, as you stand before Him,
You will be able to say,
"I did what I thought you wanted;
I tryed to live only for you.
I suceeded sometimes, others I failed,
But I did try to live as Jesus taught."

And you will mean it.
