Rememberance

of words so few

Fires long dead
Rekindled anew
Lost thoughts reread
A bleeding heart torn in two

Crippled by words so few
The past once deeply buried
Dug up again so I must now carry
Remembrance of words so few
Ripped from out of my shelter
By a simple “I Love You”

Thoughts of immortality
But can't I end this game
If ended due to fatality
How many people will I have shamed

Heat intensified but I’ve I been purged
All emptiness filled with one urge!
The Tome of Purgatory; in it signed my name!
Figure what life means on this earth:
A crushed life denied rebirth!

As I looked upon my mortal soul
I saw nothing but a ring of gold
Within the ring a dark flame grew
Awed by it’s painless heat closer I drew

The flame took shape of a woman I once loved and knew
Her beauty a divinity I once thought rare
I’d embrace the darkness caress it with care
Ripped once more from my once safe shelter
Crippled by words so few
But the darkness never whispered “I Love You”

To hear those words I’d what forever
With a chance to hear them never
With remembrance of words so few
I’ll hold you close
And whisper “I Love You”
