grrr... monday monday...

leaving for atlanta in just a little over 24 hours...

this reminds me that there is still good in human nature:

This was in the Atlanta paper this morning.

"Sarah Woolf's year of battling bone cancer, and inspiring many in her hometown of Decatur, came to an end Saturday following a bedside serenade by the Indigo Girls and phone calls from favorite TV stars.

Woolf, 17, a junior at Decatur High School, rallied her schoolmates with her courage, humor and exuberance in facing Ewing's sarcoma.

A highlight of her last day was a visit from the Indigo Girls, her favorite musicians, who are from Decatur. Emily Saliers and Amy Ray arrived at the Woolf home around 3 p.m. They sang some of her favorite songs -- including "Southland in the Springtime" and "Galileo" -- for about 45 minutes, said David Woolf, an uncle.

"There was no response from Sarah that we could see, but we know that on some level she was able to hear them and it helped give her a sense of peace and closure," he said. She died four hours later."

so sad. so beautiful. makes me love the indigo girls more than already (if possible).

and may sarah rest in peace...
