"In The Arms" is a story I wrote after day dreaming one day at a stop light. I was out to lunch with some co-workers and this teenage boy was running across the street and came within inches of being hit by a car. Luckily the car had good breaks and stopped in time. One of my co-workers said "Boy, that kid had a guardian angel watching over him today." And with me being full of sushi and (shhhhh) beer, my mind immediately saw JC with a very handsome guardian angel watching over him. Boom...home and writing.
This story is dedicated to the tiger. It is written in the memory of his twin brother Travis...who unfortunately I never got to meet but through the tiger I have gotten to know.
