Photos From Top -- Marilyn Nyulassie with her
kinpeople's ancestral home to her right, husband Jack Nyulassie in a
photograph that shows the extreme isolation of the jut of land where Dunnottar
Castle was begun as a "Tower House" in the 1400s while incorporating earlier
church-related mission buildings back into the AD 400s (Before that this
easily defensible headland was a Pict center for a thousand years); and
Marilyn, again, this time in the castle's former chapel. Many American
Liddells, Marilyn and sister Vonda Kay Brock included, trace their ancestry
back through Daniel Keith of South Carolina and Georgia to the Keith clan that
once lived here and held among the highest positions in the Scottish realm
starting as early as Robert the Bruce's reign.
