Headlights and Skimpy Cloths - The Women of the Golden Age Comic

As far as I know, this term was coined for comics and the genre.
Why exactly the term headlights was used for prominent breasts seems self
evident. Although most breasts drawn in this genre would qualify as headlights,
some were more obvious than others. When you compare them to others drawn
in other books in the same era it is clear what was intended.
Tight/Skimpy Clothing
Lingerie and stripping/bathing scenes were very common. Sheena
was seen more than once taking a bath and the Phantom Lady spent half her
time in Lingerie. It is the headlights and the skimpy clothing that defines
the Good Girl genre.
