Sunny as the Inspector for Detective Investigation Files 4? I was like, "Ah-hem, HIM?" Frankly, I didn't think he could pull it off as well as Micheal Tao Da Yu. His wimpy, mummy's boy character Ka Hung in Secret of The Heart has left me quite unimpressed and bored with his acting. His character Wu Fei in The Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain also left me bored. I can't stand guys who bow to a girl's every whim like a spineless being. (Think Ka Hung and Diana in Secret of the Heart and Wu Fei + Lip Song Ching in Flying Fox.) But, surprise, surprise! He pulled it off very well. Personally, I STILL prefer Micheal(his clothes were much cooler than Sunny's stuffy coats and ties) but I am rather impressed with his acting. Sunny portrayed the role of Kong Chi San rather well, a leader, a police officer and a friend. He took charge commandingly and when he gave orders, the others listened beacuse he was much respected. Sunny also managed to insert an air of confidence into his character, which I find impressive. Is there room for improvement? Definitely. But I daresay Sunny's role as Kong Chi San may open up to him better and greener pastures in the future.
My rating for Sunny as Kong Chi San: 8 out of 10.
