| August 4, 2001: I am heading out to the TRL TOUR CONCERT!!!!! But first, I must make a stop at the mallz. I go early in the morning, and shop shop shop. Then around 5:00 p.m. we (my mom, friend Katie, and I) leave to head out to the concert. When we got there, we realized our seats were a lot closer than we expected (they were on the floor, real close to the stage) so we were energetic and waiting not so patiently for Nelly to come out. First 3LW come out. They were pretty cool. Then Dream came out. And after that the one and only E-V-E came out giving a slammin performance. But the best part of the concert was soon to come. Next the dj called out the St. Lunatics and then Nelly comes riding in on a 4 wheeler. His performance was sooo awesome. I couldn't sit still. Everybody in the place was jumpin' and groovin' to his artistic flows. After Nelly finished his part of the concert with E.I., Destiny's Child came out giving a excellent show, too. It was amazing actually being so close to the famous singers/rappers. One of the acts did not show as the down side of the concert. It was Jessica Simpson. But all was well as long as I got to see Nelly!!! The TRL Tour Concert was the best concert I have been to and let me tell you I have been to many concerts! :) |
