1.) “Go Captain, from me greet the Danish king.”
Fortinbras tells the captain to greet the king for him.
2.) “Tell him that by his license Fortinbras craves the conveyance of a promised march over his kingdom.”
Fortinbras wants the captain to tell the king; that he wants a secure, (promised) march, (army) over his kingdom.
3.) “You know the rendezvous.”
Fortinbras says you know the revenge, the rage.
4.) “If that his Majesty would aught with us, we shall express our duty in his eye; and let him know so.”
He has explained to the captain that, he wants the king to know; with his army and the kingdom, he and his army will express great respect and protect the kingdom.
5.) “Go softly on.”
Meaning go patiently on, or with no rush go to the Danish king.

6.) “Let us haste to hear it, and call the noblest to the audience.”
He wants to hurriedly hear the news, and ask the most honest to tell.
7.) “For me, with sorrow I embrace my fortune.”
With sorrow, he embraces his fortune.
8.) “I have some rights of a memory in this kingdom, which now to claim my vantage
doth invite me.”
He has to his rights in the memory of the kingdom, which gives the opportunity
now invites me to claim.
9.) “ Let four captains bear Hamlet like a soldier to the stage; for he was likely, he
had been put on, to have proved most royally; and for his passage the soldiers’
music and rites of war speak loudly for him.”
Fortinbras is telling Horatio to put Hamlet on the stage, in front of everyone.
Hamlet tried to prove so much before he died. Now everyone grieves and
gossips about him.
10.) “Take up the bodies. Such a sight as this becomes the field, but here shows much
amiss.”
Take the bodies out of my sight, such a disaster as there was something terribly
Wrong. (Quotes 6-10 Act5.sc.2 lines 417-434)
