The Superbowl Pregame show is set to begin at 1:30 EST. BNL will play 1 song (maybe even less) at the Tailgate party in the parking lot. It is rumored they will be on very early in the program. The Superbowl is scheduled for a 6pm timeslot. So watch all day or tape the pregame stuff cause no one is exactly sure what time BNL will go on.

From The Ladies Room newsletter:

Breakout the munchies and get your game face on because Sunday, Sunday, Sunday is the Superbowl! Speaking of which, here's your eminder that the BNLs will perform at the XXXVI SUPERBOWL pre-game party! The Ladies will do a 60-minute set. However, only one song will be televised. And note that there's a possibility that the song will be not be broadcast in its entireity. The game is scheduled to air Sunday, Feb. 3rd, 2002 on the Fox Network at 6pm live from New Orleans. For more on the XXXVI SUPERBOWL, visit the official site. http://www.superbowl.com/ And for those of you who've asked, we've been informed that Louisiana Superdome grounds are open for pregame festivities to game ticket holders only.

On Feb. 7th 2002, Steve Page will headline (solo) a benefit concert in Toronto called the "Daily Bread Feedback Festival". It's at the Kool Haus at Queens Quay and Jarvis. Also on the show are Kim Mitchell, Choclair, Universal Honey, Blurtonia, the Cash Brothers, Molly Johnson and others. Tickets are $35 at Ticketmaster. Make arrangements to be a part of it. The food bank really needs the help. If you can't make it out to the event, we encourage you to dontate to your local food bank. Please note that the fan club is NOT selling tix to the show.

VH1 is getting set for a March debut of "Guerilla Concerts", a weekly half-hour show featuring adventures with two artists in each episode as they find a place with a personal connection, such as a favorite discount department store, and play. "Guerilla" locations could range from a karaoke bar to a Home Depot. Barenaked Ladies, Five for Fighting Alanis Morrisette and Nickelback are all on board for the series. (I see a connection already -- as 3 in this list are Canadian!) ;-) As more information surfaces, we'll pass it on.

pics of BNL at Dating Scene at: http://www.datingsceneradio.com/kickoff.html

from DCP: Many Poop Watchers were present last Friday night at the Horseshoe Tavern for the Thinbuckle/ Rheostatics show in Toronto where Tyler made a special appearance onstage.

Poop Watcher Jen reports: "Tyler was at the TB/Rheostatics show on Friday. He was invited up onstage w/ the Rheos and sang 'Queer' off of Whale Music, which completely rocked. The whole crowd was just unbelievably pumped up by his performance."
