I'm a poet, a philosopher, a romantic, a comedian... I had a rough time over the years, but I learned a lot about people and even more about myself. My friends in Bremerton call me Dr. Scott because I am the first person they want to come to when they need advice. I enjoy conversation. I enjoy talking as much as I enjoy listening. I'm a straight shooter when it comes to being honest, which some people can find a little off putting. I figure that they at least know where I stant, which is a lot more than some can say.
I love getting my hands dirty just as much as I enjoy going out to the symphony. I paint, sculpt, write, cook, garden, sing, dance, love and live. I love being out in nature or curled up on the couch with my cat. I've a great and supportive family. I've also got a brilliant and reliable set of eclectic friends.
I'm currently single, but not sure if I'm ready for a relationship. I've got a lot going on that I'm trying to focus on and although I would love to share my time with someone else, I'm trying to maintain my priorities. I go on dates. I get numbers. I make friends and socialize, but I think in the end, all I'm really looking for is a reliable place to land after a long day. Someone that makes me feel safe without me having to compromise myself. I suppose everyone is looking for that though... maybe someday for all of us. Until then, I try to keep myself busy and spend time reading, writing, socializing, catering, etc. You never know when it'll happen.
