The Easter bunny walks around the circle
and taps a player on the shoulder saying,
"Have you seen my bunny helper?"
Player responds,"What does it look like?"
Easter bunny describes the helper.
The player tries to guess who it is.
If he guesses who it is the Easter bunny

Arts & Crafts ![]()
Egg Center:
Set up a large egg coloring center so several
kids can color at once. Show how to use crayon
markings before dying. How to hold an egg in part way
then turn and dye other side in different color.
Use stickers, marking pens, glue and glitter, sequins,
bits of lace and velvet, etc...
Make your own natural dyes here!
Glue yarn, string and thread in designs.
Glue pom poms on eggs.
Wrap rubber bands on eggs before dying. Take off after they are dry.
Use left over egg shells for collages.Easter Sand Collages:
Use pastel-colored sand and glue by adding small
amounts of dry tempera to sand until light colors are reached.
Paint glue onto paper then sprinkle with sand.
Variation: Mix enough glue directly to sand to create a paste
then use on cardboard and mold with fingers.
You can also add bits of straw, Easter grass, egg shells,
etc... to the sand/glue mix.Easel Ideas:
Cut out large egg shapes. If you use a large piece of
cardboard the kids can trace and cut their own. Add pastel
paints with glitter or use a color such as red in one container
and white in another. Watch and discuss the new color - pink.
Do this with all the colors over the whole month. Kids like to
watch paint change.Milk Baskets:
Cut small milk cartons in half and clean throughly.
We let the kids save them and help wash in a large tub of
pink soapy water. Provide glue and lots of decorations
such as: cloth, lace, beads, sequins, yarn, Easter card cut outs, etc...
Tip! Go to your local fabric shop and ask them to save
any bits of material, beads, buttons, etc...they may have left over.
Have the kids make easter cards and everyone deliver it to people
who helped contribute.Berry Baskets:
Have all the parents save any little berry baskets they
get that contained strawberries and blueberries.
Add the large thick yarn as handles.Wet Eggs:
Cut out different sizes of eggs on construction paper.
Have kids dip chalk first in water to color and then in vinegar.
The vinegar color will be brighter.
