Miss Muffet's Curds and Whey


Also used as a Science Experiment.

2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon vinegar

Warm milk and add vinegar.
Stir as curds separate from the whey.
Curds are the milk solids and the whey is
the liquid that is poured off.
Strain the curds from the whey, dump the curds
onto a paper towel and gently press the curds
with more paper towels until liquid is gone.
Sprinkle with salt and put in the refrigerator.
You can eat it like cottage cheese. Serve at room temp.
Stir until smooth.
Try different flavorings such as cinnamon, orange, vanilla, etc...
You can also mix them with peanut butter and spread on crackers.
