Have a barnyard party.
Guest can come dressed up like farmers or animals.
Or you can provide the costumes.
Puppet Party!
Let kids chose a puppet.
They must now speak only through the puppet!
If they chose an animal puppet they must act like the animal.
Apple Party!
Bob for apples.
Make candy apples.
Have kids decorate with small candies.
Dip apple slices in caramel.
Serve applesauce, apple cider, dried apples,apple juice etc...
Draw faces on apple cutouts.
Glue pieces of red, yellow and green paper on cutouts.
Make apples out of playdough.
Play pin the apple on the tree.
Draw a large tree on poster board
Give each child an apple cutout from poster board.
Add a piece of duct tape to the back.
Blindfold and go!
Have a dress-up party.
Offer a large box of old clothes, hats and shoes at the door.
Have another box of accessories...
neckless, eye-patches, fake mustaches, old glasses without the glass, gloves, etc...
Have a fairy tale costume party.
Guest come dressed as their favorite
fairy tale character.

Party Activities
Fill a big tub with leaves.
Hide little bags of treats in the leaves.
Take turns hunting for the treats.
Leaf designs. Provide leaves,
light colored paper and crayons.
Lay leaf on table, paper on top
and rub crayons across paper.
Make a scarecrow! Offer a box
of old clothes to dress the
pre-made scarecrow. Make it fun
by adding girl and boy clothes.
Don't forget the funny hats.
Lay a blanket on the floor and
pop popcorn using an air popper.
Leave the top off!
Draw faces on fall harvest vegetables
such as pumpkins, squashes, gourds
etc... using marker pens. Let kids take
home their vegetable.
Fall face painting.
Have adults to help but also offer
mirrors for self painting.
Collect acorns outside in brown bags.
Float bowls in a large tub and have
an acorn toss game.
Decorate cookies using orange
and yellow sprinkles.
Make pinecone birdfeeders.
Tie a ribbon on each pinecone.
Have kids roll in a pan of peanut butter.
Then roll in a pan of birdfeed.
Store in zip-locks for kids to take home.
Play pin the leaf on the tree.
Draw a large tree on poster
board and put a piece of duct
tape on the back of a leaf.
(Have extras lined up ready to use.)
Blindfold the child and go!
Collect things outside on a nature walk.
Provide each child with some playdough.
Have kids make a ball out of playdough.
Kids then stick the things they found
outside on the ball.
