Die sat there, hiding under the blankets on the mattress. Silence was well known to him nowadays. He sighed, letting the tears flow freely. He was tired of the pain, the hatred that grew dully in his heart. It beat hollowly through his body.

He didn’t notice the droplets cascading off his broad face. He didn’t care either. It when on like this for so long, it was hard to care anymore. His feelings dulled after the pain went through his whole being. The tears were swallowed up by the material of darkness which were wrapped around him.

His eyes wandered around the room, trying to seek him. The dream and image of him were beginning to fade slowly. Sometimes he couldn’t remember why he cried like this. He began to forget, his heart didn’t forget that well. At least he was happy. He never was happy with the enemy.

The warmth coming the blankets wasn’t as good as having him here. But he was gone, with his new lover. Would he ever accept it? He sat up on the mattress, reaching for the lamp. Click. The light scared away the shadows, the colors becoming apparent now.

He searched still, letting his lips mouth the forbidden name. It wouldn’t be heard to the world, it wasn’t his right to speak the lovely name.

His eyes blinked away the tears as got out of the warm confines. He felt so different without him by his side. The picture of him hung on the white wall. He was smiling at him. The smile was taunting, yet beautiful.

‘Die-kun.’ he giggled out of his half opened mouth. His eyes rolling back in his head, erotically. Die remembering touching that naked skin, rubbing and kissing his property. ‘I love you.’

“I love you...” He murmured to the deadly silence and to the photo of plain memories. No response from the lovely vixen.

‘I love you, Die-kun. You are the only one for me.’ his soft voice cooed in his ear, late one night. He laced his fingers with his own, kissing him deeply. His tongue running over his lips, tasting him, trusting him with his own life.

He took the portrait off the wall, seeing his reflection on the glass. That teasing look, those eyes. The frame fell to the hard floor, breaking and shattering the glass. It broke that look of loveliness, pain. He stared at the pieces of glass, making his eyes start to water. He broke the only memory. It wasn’t on purpose...he loved him still after so long. Gently he kneeled down and picked up the golden frame. The glass cut his finger tips, the other pieces escaped, cutting him on the leg.

“I love you too...Toshiya.”
