Take Home Exam by Patrick Roy
One very important thing I learned from this Summer Theology course was a good way of organizing a semester of work and being able to study very well and have success from it. The 3-ring binder method we had to do helped me organize the handouts, tests, papers, etc. a lot better and help me study easier and more successful. The binder also made notes and handouts and easy accessability. I could find what I was looking for faster, and it helped me a lot during these past few weeks. The organization methods used in this class will help me throughout my next 3 years at St. Louis University High School and for the rest of my life. These methods can be used in any subject and in any work area, school or anything like that.
Another thing that I enjoyed learning from this course is the three levels of interpertating the Scriptures. Through the three levels, I learned how to find out the true meaning of Scripture writings and discover what can be learned from them. One of the most intriguing things about the three level interpertation is that it can be used in any kind of literature. It can deepen the meaning of a book and bring out its morals and ideas. I think this is a skill/tool that will be used alot during the next three years at SLUH. This is a interperative skill that will help my better understand literature.
One last thing I learned from this course was learning more about myself. I learned that I can be able to take in new methods of learning (R/M/S method), be able to teach a section to the class and a new way of organization. I also learned how to interpet the Scriptures on three levels, the 10 Commandments for reading the Scriptures, and many more things. This course helped me discover some things in me that I could not discover anywhere else, like the three level and the 10 Commandments for Scriptures.
