1. “The unexamined life is not worth living.”-Socrates Through our classes we learned that the unexamined life is not worth living for various reasons. The first reason is that we must constantly seek the truth in order to learn what is real and what is not real in our world so that we may be well enough educated to make informed decisions about issues which do and don’t affect us. We must further examine how we are living our lives so that we can see if we are living our lives the way God wants us to, to follow the Ten Commandments. In order to understand the impact we have in the world we must realize that we are constantly making decisions that affect us as well as others. In order to seek the truth we must recognize the biases and perspectives that each of us has and move beyond that in order to truly understand issues. We each have particular beliefs, principles which we live by that modify our lives and control to no small degree our happiness and health. Faith decisions are the most important ones we make in our lives, because they are opinions based on facts which we commit ourselves to.

2. –That I have biases against certain people, places, or things which can lead me to be judgmental and to not always seek the truth but, rather accept what I hear from the media or other people as the truth.

--Question everything and do not put faith in it until you have discovered it for yourself.

--Wealth and popularity are not the most important things in life; in fact these often lead you down the path to disaster because they don’t lead you to fulfilled ness, only emptiness.
