I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. Jn. 15:5

                  A Question
The most important question you will ever be asked in life is "where will you spend eternity?"

We have a promise of eternal life in Heaven with Christ if we choose to accept Him as our Lord and Saviour.  John 3:16 tells us that God loved the world and sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but will have everlasting life.  The choice is one each person will have to make.  We have  a heaven to gain if we choose Jesus, or eternity in hell  without Him if we choose to reject Him  and His plan of salvation.

It is not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to  Him and  to everlasting life.  We are all sinners and there is none righteous, no not one.  For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)  Salvation is as simple as the ABC'S.  One must first admit they are a sinner in need of a Saviour and ask Jesus to come into their heart.  By believing upon Him and his death, burial and resurrection, one can come to Him and ask Him to receive them into the Family of God. (John 3:16)   We must  confess with our mouth our sins unto the Father, and believe in our hearts He hears and will save those who come unto Him.  (1 John 1:9) He tells us those who do come to Him, He will in no wise cast out.   (John 6:37)

Greater love hath no man that Jesus, who laid down his life for the sins of the world.  (John 15:13)  This love atoned for our sins.  It covered them and also took them away.  Jesus says our sins are cast as far as the East is from the West.  They are in the sea of God's forgetfulness, as He remembers them no more.  His shed blood at Calvary's cross atoned for and paid the price for the debt we owed for our sins.

Today is the day of Salvation.   If you do not know Christ as your personal Saviour, call upon Him in prayer, as you would talk to your best friend.  He is a friend who sticketh closer than a brother.  He will hear you this day and give you a "new life" in Him full of  love, joy, and peace.

He is the Vine, and we are the branches as Christians.   We draw our strength from Him and He provides all we ever need to bring forth fruit unto everlasting life....................

 God Bless You!

Matt. 3:16...And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water, and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him;
17. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Poems
My Name Is I Am
I was regretting the past
and fearing the future.
Suddenly my Lord was speaking:

"MY NAME IS I AM"

He paused.
I waited, He continued,
"When you live in the past with its
mistakes and regrets,
It is hard. I am not there.
My name is not I WAS.

When you live in the future,
With its problems and fears,
It is hard. I am not there.
My name is not I WILL BE.

When you live in this moment,
It is not hard. I am here.
My name is I AM."

LET GO AND LET GOD

As children bring their broken toys,
with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God,
because He is my friend.
But then instead of leaving Him,
In peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help,
With ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back again,
and cried, "How can you be so slow?"
"My child" He said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."
