Zodiac Signs
My Zodiac Sign is Virgo.  My b-day is on Sept. 21. I am also a Saturday's child.  That means, it was Saturday when I was born.
"  Saturday's child works hard for a living. "
I have a poem here composed, among others, by Addison and Milton, as well as by the ancient Greek poet Aratus and the Roman poet Manilus.
VIRGO -- ( The Virgin )
Aug. 23- Sept. 22
The 6th, Northern sign of the Zodiac
"  Soon as the evening shades prevail,
the moon takes up the wondrous tale,
and nightly to the listening earth,
proclaims the story of her birth.
Who criticizes all she sees;
yes'en would analyze a sneeze?
Who hugs and loves her own disease?
Humpf, Virgo  "

Here's a guide to a Virgo's personality traits:

Babies born under the sign of Virgo...
VIRGO
The most ambitious children of the Zodiac
Virgo children,  above all others, should be given every opportunity for a thorough and complete education.  Otherwise, when they grow up, they will be very unhappy to find themselves less equipped mentally than those whom they associate.  They have a natural thirst for knowledge and put great stress upon little things-- upon saying the right things and doing the right things-- right, for them, meaning correct rather than ethical.

These children have an interest in any subject which they take up and study for the sheer pleasure of acquiring knowledge.  They make high grades in school, give the teachers little or no trouble, but may be unknown to most of their schoolmates because of their indifferences to companions and their lack of inclination to "mix" with their fellow students.  They are not inclined to seek leadership in games or to push themselves forward for class offices; and while almost always good students, they will tend to remain in the background socially because of lack of interest in making friends.

Order and routine are natural and pleasing to them, and you will never need to complain that they don't pick up their clothes or put away their books or keep their rooms in order.  On the other hand, they will probably make everyone who associates with them miserable by insisting that they keep things in the same neat fashion that is second nature to them.

The tendency to be critical of those who are less perfect in behavior than themselves, and to find fault with all the smaller sins and shortcomings of humanity, is one of the worst characteristics to be found in Virgo children.  Their motto, whether they are old enough to express it or not, is "Trifles make perfection, but perfection is no trifle," but in their effort to attain it they are inclined " to strain at gnats and swallow camels," as the saying goes.  They put so much stress upon small matters that they are unprepared to meet the real tragedies that come to every life at some time.  try, if possible, to develop their sense of proportion in life, and to overcome their natural tendency to be fussy and fretful about trifles.

These children will appreciate a good environment.  They are inclined to want to better themselves both socially and financially, and will work hard if they see that their effprts will be rewarded.  Diet, hygiene, and science are subjects that interest them.

While they are somewhat quick-tempered and "fussy", they are not inclined to fight, and they seldom act upon anything without deliberation and forethought.  They are, therefore, less likely to get into difficulties than the more impulsive and aggressive children.

As far as illness goes, intestinal complaints are the chief causes of poor health, but never let them get into the habit of thinking themselves invalids, for they can "enjoy poor health" to a remarkable degree, and actually intensify their condition by worrying about it.
