On and on
It must be terrible when your name is Mugabe, Castro, you fill in the blank, being so old and frail. They are the glue that keeps the dictating farce (or fart) together, realising, or not wanting to, that a new world is constantly dawning, waiting for their demise, the former heroes, freedomfighters of yester-year now turned sour. They couldn't handle the money, the power. They still believe in the dream of forever and ever. That nothing will change. Even when dead and long gone. But we know better, somehow; they wear Cinderella's glass shoe. They said and say: "Someone make it fit my awesome foot or people will die. Now I'm gonna eat the whole damn pie." 28.March.2007 |
