Pia Douwes trained at the Brooking School of Ballet in London from 1983 to 1986. She then studied in Vienna under Sam Cayne and Susi Nicoletti. Pia Douwes has played roles in 'Cats' (Amsterdam, Vienna and Moscow), 'Grease' (Vienna), 'Les Miserables' (Amsterdam), 'Cabaret' (Bad Hersfeld), 'The Rocky Horror Show' (Bad Hersfeld), 'Elizabeth' (Vienna), 'Evita' (as Eva Peron in Amsterdam), Jane in 'Jane Eyre'. From the second half of April (2004) she played the leading part in the musical 'Chicago' on Broadway!
