Bio and martial arts background
William was an athlete and a good wrestler, but not a martial artist, until he auditioned for the Karate Kid. While doing the audition, Billy performed some kicks on a punching bag. It turned out that Billy was a natural, and a good actor. So he landed a lead role in the movie that made him, Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio very popular; The Karate Kid.
Being a good actor, Billy landed many, many more roles, and some again in martial arts movies. Two of his greatest were the Shootfighter movies part 1 and 2.
William is still working on a serious carreer and recently wrote and produced a movie. |
