Bio and martial arts background

Born 26 July 1957 in Hong Kong.

Biao may not be just as famous as Jackie Chan and Samo Hung, but he is legendary and known as one of the most acrobatic martial artists. He met Jackie and Samo when he was 5 years old at the Chinese Drama Academy. Biao later tried his luck in the US which failed. Samo was already successful in Hong Kong and helped Biao starting his carreer. He did this by giving Biao some bit parts and later his first lead role. During these days, Jackie, Samo and Biao became stars and began making movies together. One of their most famous movies is Project A. While working on movies, Biao met his wife DiDi Phang Sau-Ha.

Biao is a perfectionist so he won't accept every role he can get, but he still works with his lifelong friends Jackie and Samo. Biao also works as a coordinator and director. If not, he is at his second home in Canada playing golf and wearing his spectacles, rarely seen in his movies.
