At an early age Francoise passed on an opportunity to study in music and chose to persue a degree in Political Science. It was during those years, Francoise started with modellling. That carreer didn't last long, but she did get the opportunity to star with Jackie Chan in Rumble in the Bronx. For her work, she earned two Hong Kong Film Award nominations and a star was born.
Francoise was not a martial artist, but she trained in screen-fighting. She had athletic abilities and got to show her kicking skills against Jet Li in Tsui Hark's Black Mask. They would meet again in Romeo Must Die. She also had the privilege of working twice with martial arts stars Wesley Snipes and Larry Lam.
Francoise is now a popular and skilled stuntwoman and moviefighter bu also a good character actress. She is also a talented dancer, skier, piano player and all-round sportswoman.
Her abilities as an athlete and actress launched her into stardom and she can be seen in the coolest of movies.
