Matt is a huge man (2.01m / 6'7") who trained a lot. He practised martial arts for over 15 years and has a black belt in Karate. After graduating from college in 1994 he became a police officer and in his spare time he also worked as a personal trainer.
After quitting his jobs he became a full time actor. He is often cast as a tough guy, but recently he wsa cast as 'Nemesis' in Resident Evil 2 which was an eyecatcher.
