Dr. Reid started his martial arts training in 1972 and did chi-gong since 1980. His acting carreer began in 1979, when he did some stunt jobs and acting parts in Hong Kong movies. Dr. Reid also did some language dubbing.
He learned the art of fight directing from Jackie Chan on the set of Drunken master 2 and from Tsui Hark on the set of Once Upon a Time in China. In 1996 Dr. Reid moved to L.A. and started doing fight directing for television series in the US.
Dr. Reid is also a freelance writer for several magazines and made a lot of good reviews for some of the greatest action movies.
