Bio and martial arts background
Richard Rabago is a household name for everybody who likes to watch martial arts movies. He appeared in various movies together with the likes of Gary Daniels, Gerald Okamura, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Tadashi Yamashita and Lelagi "Butch" Togisala.
Richard was raised on the Island of Oahu. In 1961 he moved to California where he'd begin his martial arts training. Now Richard is an expert in Kobudo or Okinawan Weaponry and holds a 7th degree black belt in Shorin-Rye Karate under legendary Master Tadashi Yamashita. Richards brother Glenn also has a black belt. In the 70's Richard was a nationally ranked competitor.
In 1973 Richard opened his own Karate school and became a popular teacher. He and his student would be seen in various movies since then. |
