Chris was born from a family of actors. His parents were actors and his brother is Sean Penn. Fun fact is that Chris and Sean appeared togethe with their mother in 'At Close Range'.

Chris started his acting training at the age of 12 under guru Peggy Feury. Since then he has been in numerous movies from all genres. Some of his most memorable movies are Best of the Best 1 and 2, in which he portrayed a cocky but also great fighter.

Chris is a good fighter with a black belt in Karate. He showed his skills in Best of the Best 1 and 2, but also against Don 'The Dragon' Wilson in Futurekick and would reunite with him later in Redemption and Stealing Harvard. Chris can be proud to have worked with the likes of Jackie Chan, Richard Norton and Cynthia Rothrock as well.

As a great actor, he has not only worked in action movies, but also appeared in various comedies, drama's and thrillers. Highlights in his carreer are his movies with Quentin Tarantino: Reservoir Dogs and True Romance.
