Dustin had to flee from his birth country at a young age to the US. At school he found excellence in martial arts. After attending High School and College he took a friend's advice and took acting lessons.
That was one of his best decisions, because soon after he'd have his first guest starring roles. His roles were eye-catchers but his real brakthrough came with the hit series '21 Jump Street'. Dustin mainly focussed on acting and rarely used his martial arts skills on screen. But Dustin is highly trained in Muay Thai Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Kali, Escrima and Jeet Kune Do.
Dustin and his wife now live in LA and are very involved with the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation after his wife suffered a dangerous car accident. On the business side Dustin is partners with designer Jebran in a custom leather and jewelry endeavor called Skkin, outfitting various celebrities.
