Story
Danny is liturally raised by Bart as a fighting dog, only to be controlled by Bart and a leash. When unleashed, Danny becomes an invincible fighting machine, in order to make Bart rich.
When Bart almost gets killed in an accident, Danny escapes and a blind man, Sam, takes Danny in his house. With music, he learns Danny morals, values and feelings.
But Bart recovers, and he wants Danny back, by all means. |

My thoughts
A great movie!!!! Jet Li turns out to be a good actor and with the help of stars such as Bob Hoskins and Morgan Freeman, we have action, humour and drama.
However, this is not an action movie. It's a convincing movie about people, characters, morals. There is not so much action, but the action sequences that are there are magnificent. The fights are hard, brutal, original. But it still remains a good film.
Probably one of Jet Li's best and one of the best movies of 2005. |
