My thoughts
Not as good as Kiss of the Dragon, but so much better than Romeo Must Die and The One. Jet is more and more establishing himself as one of the best action actors. This time, not only in Hong Kong, but also in the US. He turns out to be very capable of working with other people. Now for the second time, it was more a gangsta movie, but he did fine. The action was ok, because of the many great guest fighters. The only bad thing is that there is still to much wire-fu, so you're not sure if Jet Li really does his stunts. We know he can, but he doesn't show it. But the end fight between Jet and Dacascos was so good. That would've compensated every bad story or fight!!!! |
