Monsour started his martial arts training at the age of 9 which was sadly because of bullies at school but also because of fascination for Bruce Lee and Chinese Kung Fu movies. Monsour started in Tang Soo Do/Moo Duk Kwan and later shifted to Tae Kwon Do when he moved to Manilla or High School and also became Philippine National Team Member in 1982. Besides being a TKD-practisioner and running his own martial arts school as a popular instructor he's also skilled in Arnis, boxing, kickboxing, track and field, swimming, golf, basketball, volleybal, waterskiing, motorsports, scuba-diving and many more.
