Anita excelled in gymnastics, which she gave up when moving to the US at the age of 15. In the US, she wanted to continue hard physical training and began with Tae Kwon Do. She had her black belt in 3 years. After attending a demonstration she watched WMAC-Master's Richard 'Yin Yang Man' Branden perform a Wushu demo and she knew what to do. Xiaoling Lu, the coach of the US Wushu Team would become Anita's new instructor and Anita turned out to be a talent. Anita is great with the straight sword and nunchuan (barehand) and won several medals, most of which were gold. She is now also a member of the US Wushu Team. She and Louis Diaz are the only non-Chinese members. Anita is Inside Kung Fu's Newcomer of the Year.
Anita had one acting appearance together with Louis Diaz in the game The Untouchable as a fighter.
