Bio and martial arts background Sho is recognized as one of the best martial arts filmstars during the 1980's ninja-craze. Sho began his martial arts training at the age of 5 in Karate. He expanded his study to Judo and Kendo. When he was 18, he achieved the status of All Japan Karate Champion. When he was 19, he went to LA, US and achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, but kept focussing on martial arts. In the early 70's Sho competed in 100's of martial arts tournaments and won the LA Open in 1972, 73 and 74. He met his wife, Shook, and future mother of his children. After getting some small roles, Sho got the part in Enter the Ninja. This was his claim to fame and 2 even more successfull sequels came, making Sho the action star of that time. Sho grew to be a director, writer and coordinator, and would later go back to Japan to work there where the market kept asking for ninja and samourai movies. Sho'd appear on various occasions with his sons in movies. Eventually Sho would go again to the US to assist other Asians with their carreers through the Sho Kosugi Institute. Kane is also very talented and trains since he was 1,5 years old. He is now highly skilled in Karate in which he gained a black belt at the age of 4, Judo, gymnastics, weaponry, Ninjitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Wu Shu and is fond of sports and hobbies such as snowboarding, football, swimming and skydiving. From 1977 till 1981 Kane entered various tournaments and won 38 Championship Titles and 176 trophies. As a child actor, he worked with his father in movies, but now as a handsome young adult he stars in his own movies in Japan and in the US. Shane is also a great martial artist. His father created 'Ninja Taiko' in 1998. Shane joined him and they perform martial arts, gymnastics and traditional Japanese Taiko. Shane also appeared in various Japanese and US productions. Most of which with his family. |
