Born 24 July 1936.
Danny studied Jeet Kune Do under the late and famous Bruce Lee. Dan was already skilled in the arts of Judo and Karate. Judo was his first art, which he began with as a teenager in Okinawa Te. Before meeting Bruce, he had already trained under Ed Parker.
After Bruce Lee died in 1973, Dan took over some students. Among them were Richard Bustillo, Daniel Lee, Jerry Poteet and some other celebrities. Dan teaches Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do, Inosanto Kali, Grappling, Arnis, Muay Thai and Silat.
Danny appeared in some movies as an actor, but also in several martial arts documentaries about Bruce Lee a himself, keeping the spirit alove. Sifu Dan Inosanto may be one of the most important men in the world of martial arts.
