Bio and martial arts background
Mitch is a legendary gymnast who led his US Olympic Gymnastics Team to the gold medal in 1984 and is the first American to receive a perfect '10'. Mitch was already a #1 ranked gymnast in 1983 and '84. He even has invented a high bar technique which is called after him: 'the Gaylord'. After the Olympics he was appointed to the President's Council for Physical Fitness by Ronald Reagan.
Since 1986 Mitch can be admired as an actor and stuntman in various movies, some of which sports related. In 1995 besides being inducted UCLA's Hall of Fame Mitch did stunt doubling in 2 of the better movies: Batman 3 and Mortal Kombat.
Besides acting and doing stunts, Mitch is also a popular spokesman and writer, but also a proud husband and father to his 3 children. |
