Being the daughter of martial arts legend Michael Foley, it's very normal that Melanie started taking martial arts at a young age. With a martial artist as a father and 3 sisters who were also training, Melanie grew up while working out and giving many demos.
Melanie studied the arts for over 16 years and is very skilled in various arts. She trained in Koden Kan Karate and has a black belt but is also talented in Escrima and handling weapons such as the knife, bo staff and sais. Melanie is also an instructor for the past 8 years and trains in tumbling, singing, horseback riding and is a beautiful model.

Melanie is happily married to her husband Grant Wagner who is also a martial artist and actor. Melanie is also an actress and appeared in various plays. She is a proud and happy person who uses her positive energy to achieve all of her goals.
Her younger sister Kara is also a skilled fighter with of course a black belt in Koden Kan Karate. Besides that she is also skilled in Kickboxing, weightlifting, aerobics, soccer and various sorts of dance. Singing and modelling is a hobby for her and with her family she appeared in The Rev. Before that she appeared in various stage plays and some movies at High School. At High School she started her acting but also worked as producer and director.
