Bio and martial arts background Ranae is a new face and name in the world of movies and stunts. Mortal Kombat 2 had more non-martial artist actors/actresses so the producers needed more stunt doubles. Especially since most of the leading ladies: Sandra Hess, Talisa Soto and Irina Pantaeva had no martial arts background. That's where Dana Hee, Nikki Berwick and Ranae D'Amato were brought in. Besides being a stunt performer, Ranae is also a skilled martial artist.
