5MAW & (ARG)-15:

AMPHIBIOUS READY GROUP (ARG)-15 is the mobile command center for 5MAW MARINE FORCES operating under COMMODORE Force-M ( CVA-61 ). It is permanently attached to the CVN-84v ATLANTIC Battle Group and serves as the mobile GHQ for the Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU)-30.

The Amphibious Assault Ships LHD-5 "Bataan" and LHA-1 "Tarawa" form the naval core of ARG-15.
