Jose Offerman
Jose Offerman is the second-baseman for the Red Sox. He was an infielder in the 1999 All-Star Game at Fenway, along with teammates Nomar Garciaparra and Pedro Martinez. He is one of the best offensive second-baseman in the AL and has been solid in the field too. Many people thought that Dan Duquette had finally lost it when he brought in Jose as Mo Vaughn's replacement, but Jose denied that he would be the same kind of hitter as Mo. In 1999,though, Offerman was better. So far, Jose has done better than many people expected and had a fine, almost .300 season.
