This Guild Jumbo was purchased from Zapf's Music in Pennsauken, NJ in late '93-early '94 during the "birth" years of my career as a performer. After admiring a friend's Guild, I went out and bought this one, very slightly used for about $500. This is a professional-grade guitar, and it has taken me through thick and thin. I plug in using a Dean Markley pick-up. I've tried to take care of her, but over the years, there have emerged some light scratches in the veneer, due to temperature and humidity. And of course it's worn around the hole from all the strumming. I've shaved down the bone to improve the action, as well. It's still a great guitar. |
