This is a page dedicated to all the guitars I've ever owned. I've started playing guitar since 1987 and I didn't really start seriously playing until 1990. I started off from the beginning with a classical guitar and that opened up a whole new world of other guitar possibilities in the years to come. I knew I was going to play guitar for the rest of my life. I didn't know that I would have to get rid of each individual guitar to get the next one, but that's what had happened. Oh well, it's all history to me, my history and it's captured with the many photos I have tried to save and guitars I have tried to remember to take pictures of. But this is my guitar history! Enjoy!
Guitars I've owned! **pictured

My many guitars!

Lotsa guitars in my life!

My first guitar in 1987
1. 1st one was a classical guitar from my mom! It's now gone! Traded it to Rippers Music! I learned all the bass lines to the Ramones and learned guitar on this! Was cool, but I took off the classical strings and put acoustic wound strings on and went from there! I used to watch people on tv and when I went to church, I watched where they had put there fingers and then I taught myself some chords! This guitar ended up in Rippers music store! My mom had this for years until I asked for it and I had for about 5-6 years until it got traded to RIP! I had some recordings with this guitar many years ago! My mom got in the mid 80's, I got to it in 1989 and it was gone in 95-96 RIP 1987-1996 1987 1 GUITAR FOR 1987**

My first electric guitar in 1990
2. 1st electric guitar was a B.C. Rich Candy apple red strat copy, neck was cracked and I got it for $200 from a friend, it's long gone! I learned all the Ramones songs on this and used to play with a crate amp and blast it to get feedback like Jimi Hendrix! This was cool, I played out with it once and that was pretty much it! I played out with this guitar with the Catholics! This guitar had some great sustain! Easy playin' guitar! Not a bad first guitar! You gotta learn with something and this is what that was. This guitar ended up in Rippers dumpster after he stripped it for parts! I got this back in 1990 halloween to be exact and I got rid of it in 1995-96. This guitar had great sustain! It was a Korean made BCRich! Very heavy guitar! For great sustain! Yer typical strat with 2 singles and a double!!! I played a show with the Catholics at the Reef, our first show and the show was videotaped and audiotaped, I just don't know where that footage is! RIP 1990-1996 C 1990**
1 GUITAR FOR 1990

My next guitar in 1991
3. The next guitar was a Harmony Rocket with 2 pickups single cut from my friend, Chris' father who sold it to me for $25. It was sold to a pawnshop. Big mistake! Kinda wish I still had this guitar! I did do some recordings with this, but it didn't last, there was no sustain with this guitar! Single cutaway chuck berry lookin' thing! I think I got this in 1991 before Chris went into the coast guard. I got rid of it in 1991 and didn't get much for it! You live and learn with fawkin' pawnshops! Fuckin' Bress pawn shop motherfuckers!P 1991
1 GUITAR FOR 1991

1993
My next guitar in 1993
4. I got a Kramer white on red strat copy from Bill which I traded for a bass! I used to jam on this guitar when Bill had it and then he decided he'd give it to me later on a few years down the road! No real history with this guitar at all! This ended up at Bress pawn shop! I got this in 1993 maybe, didn't last! Uncle Bill didn't play at all and his stepdad got it for him years back! He gave this to me with a Gorilla amp as well! P 1993**

My first bass in 1993
5. The bass was a Hohner black bass piece of shit! Again, no history with this bass, just used for bass lines when I recorded music! I think I traded this bass or even sold it to a pawnshop! The A string was silent! I was suppose to give this hot redhead chick guitar lessons! I think I got this in 1993 P 1993
2 GUITARS FOR 1993

1995
My first epiphone and first Les Paul in 1995
6.* The next electric guitar was an Epiphone Les paul 100/black! I souped it up with Gibson chrome PAF humbuckers! It got stolen! This was a cool guitar! I loved it! I played out with this for a couple of months! I played out with this with the Catholics and Hombre Loco and 12 eyes band! I got this in 1995 in January. Not a bad guitar! My first guitar from Alpo! It got stolen in May! I have a live Catholics show at the Kings Head Inn 1995 with this guitar and also a 12 eyes band recording at my house in 1995 as well!!! This guitar sounded pretty good with the PAF's in it! STOLEN 1995**

My first Gretsch in 1995
7. I ended up getting a Gretsch Committee! The worst Gretsch guitars were made in the 1970's!!! Plus, it was a solidbody Gretsch! I think the only ones that are cool are the 6120's and the astrojets and duojets and corvettes! Didn't like it and traded for the next one! This piece of shit Gretsch was a big disappointment for me, it went outta tune all the time! I played this guitar with Hombre Loco. I got this piece of shit from Alpha! I got this in may of 1995 and got rid of it a week later! ALPHA 1995

My first Gibson Les Paul in 1995
8.* Gibson Les Paul Studio white! Had to finally get the real deal! And I wasn't disappointed! The salesman tried to push a Gibson Les Paul Standard with Binding which was black and I should've went for that! This was cool! Great sustain! I had sold this in trade for the next one! It was one of the best guitars and the only reason why Gibson guitars are really the best! I got this brand new from Alpha and it ended up in a pawnshop in Newport news! That fuckhead, SteveF talked me out of a Mosrite, white on red, it was sweet!!! I got this in May of 1995 and got rid of it in 1996. I had wanted a guitar with binding and I stripped the finish of it on the edges and assimilated a binding effect! I should've stripped it all the way down! That would've looked really cool! I played out with this during the Nightcaps tours! I think I do have a recording of this guitar in action at a party we played in 1996 at my friend, Mike's house! P I should?ve kept this! 1995

My first bolt on neck in 1995
9. Gibson L6S Deluxe Natural! Got this from guitar center in Boston! They said it was the 'Mignight Special'! This was a 70's model with a bolt-on neck! My uncle helped me pay for it! He never really ever bought me anything since I've known him, but I thanked him! From here on, I knew I was a guitar slut! I love guitars, didn't even really want it! I traded this for an Electra bass at Stan's music! I got this in 1995 and got rid of it soon after. STANS 1995

My first Electra bass in 1995

17. Gibson SG Special black got from a pawnshop and traded it straight for an Epiphone Les Paul special Cherry red! This was short lived! I practiced with this guitar with the Nightcaps, once! I wasn't too happy with this as all SG's! Never really been satisfied with SG's at all! Maybe that's why I don't own one to this day!?! This went to Alpha shitheads! I got this in 1996 and traded it in the summer. ALPHA 1996

18.* Epiphone Les Paul Special Cherry red! This was the next best guitar I've ever had! Sounded so good! I miss it very much! I had cracked the neck because I threw it! It became the famous "BONEPHONE"! It went thru many stages before I sold it to rippers: The mummy guitar, the tv yellow wanna be Johnny thunders, and then the BONEPHONE! Great sounding guitar that I did a straight trade with Alpha shitheads! I used this guitar during the Nightcaps tours and recordings! This ended up in Rippers! I got this during the summer of 1996 and got rid of it in 1998. RIP 1996-1998 1996**

19. Hamer prototype: White dawg This guitar was just pretty much one I got because I had credit. I have a recording with this guitar at least! and got rid of it soon after. RIP 1996**

20. Epiphone Sorrento orange: This was a cool hollowbody! Recorded with this guitar in the studio and it's on the Nightcaps' album, 'You've got yer head on backwards' song! Sold it to Mark Death from the Halfways. Mark has long told me that he smashed it! Bastard, it was Gretsch orange! Got this from rippers and sold it! I got this in 1996 and sold it in 1997. SOLD 1996 pictured online!

21. Supro: This was an impulse buy in richmond. I got it for $100. Waste of money! Somebody stripped the finished and routed a f-hole which wasn't even really a f-hole! I don't know why I bought it! I did record with it though! This went to rippers! I think I got this in the summer of 1996. RIP 1996

22. Epiphone Les Paul black: I had a p-90 put in it! This was cool, I didn't like p-90's at first, but they are my favorite pickups! I don't really like humbuckers anymore! Went back to rippers! I got this probably in 1996. RIP 1996

23. Univox Strat copy: Traded for an Epiphone strat! Rippers! I got this in the summer of 1996 traded in the store!!! RIP 1996

Hello,
The individual digits themselves do not indicate any specific information about the guitar, as the serial number does not follow the serial number configuration adopted by the Custom Shop shortly after the beginning of the Historic Collection. Thanks again!!

The serial number is consistent with models made in 1992 and can also be from 2002. The first zero is representative of the year 1960. The serial number was not located in our data base so I am unable to determine the exact year.

8 GUITARS FOR 2004

2005
126. Squier Strat aztec gold finish: $149 + $10 gig bag! Great fuckin' deal!!!! STEAL!!!!

127. Epiphone G-210 Batwing Strat Tobacco Sunburst: $150 for the guitar, 10 watt amp, tuner, strap, dvd, cable, not bad!! This was an impulse buy! Well, because I've always wanted a Crestwood and I played a Wilshire last year and was blown away! I can't afford either one, so at that time, I wanted to build a coronet with the bat wing! All I needed to do is buy a coronet. Oh well!

128. Gibson Les Paul Special Humbucker Faded black: $699. I traded the Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker faded black which I paid $350 from GC and I traded #125! I paid $50 for a Gibson case and $15 bucks from straplocks! Not bad! It sounds really great to play humbuckers again! I just couldn't play that melody maker after playing the strat for some time! The neck was modeled after a '59 Les Paul and those necks are like baseball bats! Fuck that!

129. 1998 Epiphone Coronet w/Bigsby, 1998, extremely cool looks - good tone - good playability, excellent quality OBL pickups (same as found on many USA models back in the day), 3-way selector plus push/pull volume pot for coil split, vintage look with the classic gull wing 6/side headstock, bound rosewood neck with pearl block inlays, nicely rounded body edges are super comfortable, neck is slightly chunky - not huge but bigger and rounder than your average Gibson. Extremely clean condition, metallic red finish shines like new. This "Coronet with Vibrotone" model listed at $599 back in '98 and is a very cool import for just $275**

130. 1964 Epiphone Wilshire: Cherry finish with slashed E vibrato and 2 mini-humbuckers. I'd seen this guitar at Guitar Center in Rancho Cugamungo, California a year ago and it was still there in September of this year and marked down from $1399 to $1250! They guy agreed on shipping for free and a free set of strings and a case! That was cool! **

131. 2003 Gibson SG goth: I traded up the Minarik and the Squier Gold Strat. I didn't really need the strat, it sounded like ass! Gold finish: cool; pickups: suckt! The Minarik sounded really fuckin' cool played at loud volumes! The pickups were fuckin' cool! I was at least able to record with this fucker! Sounded great! I just couldn't really see keeping this! I had this fucker on Amazon.com to sell, but no motherfuckers wanted it. It would be cool to have to play out for shock value, but oh fuckin' well! I got rid of the Minarik for this SG and a drum machine and the guy wanted me to add fiddy bucks, so I told him to throw in the Jim Dunlop wah pedal and I'll throw in the gold strat and the deal was set! Fuck yeah! This SG is black and Gibson stopped makin' it! So it's cool for that value of it all!

132. Squier '51 guitar limed mahogany finish: I traded up the SG gothic to a buddy of mine for this guitar, a Peavey Bass and amp, a Dan-O-wah pedal, a cracked neck nylon classical guitar, a Carvin 4/12 cabinet, $35 bucks, 10 blank cds, and dinner. Sold on eBay for $100! **

133. Classical guitar: got this in the trade above and will probably keep it! It ain't worth anything to sell, so I won't!

134. Peavey P-bass: This was pretty cool. It sounded great! Played great as well. A p-bass with a jazz neck! NICE! Sold to a buddy of mine along with amp.

135. Godin Radiator: I had original planned to trade up my Carvin 4/12 cabinet for a Sea-foam green Brownsville Choirboy 3-pickup guitar. It looked cool with 3 pickups like a Ric and an f-hole, but it just didn't feel that solid. It felt like it would just break at any time! Oh well, I did the trade for the Godin and it seemed cool in the store! Something different! I actually could've gotten my Gibson Melody Maker back! I just didn't want it back, the neck was like a baseball bat. I could've done it for eBay reasons, but I don't have a box to ship it in. Oh well! I have some clothes and shit that I wanna sell on eBay soon, so I'll see how they do. And if I feel like it, I'll try to sell the Godin! Who knows! I should've gotten my record player back! I don't know! Maybe I'll go back and get my record player back, a cowbell, a wah pedal, maracas, something! We'll see! My old record player's been sittin' there for about a year or 2. I can use that. And I can sell a wah pedal on eBay as well as any other knick knacks! I'll think about it! **
7 GUITARS FOR 2005

2006
136. Epiphone Olympic Double tobacco sunburst: I sold my Epi coronet for this! It?s going to a good home! Why do I have to own it? It?ll be there when I record at Alex?s! This guitar is almost all original. Just the wraparound tailpiece was missing! I bought a new one and it?s got the original chipboard case and the original pickguard! Pretty cool! Sounds great! Got this guitar mailed to me from Wintersound in Virginia! Imagine that!?!?!

137. Epiphone Wilshire Exclusive: I got this because it?s the closest thing to a Crestwood I?ll ever get!?!? Well, it would?ve been, but the neck was cracked! It was a tiny crack, but this was brand new at $249! I just needs my money back! Fuck that!

138. Wolf M-16 guitar: I?ve had my eye on this guitar for quite some time. I?d seen it in this guitar store/pawn shop when I first moved out to Cali! I thought it was cool. It?s kinda set up like a tele. I remember about 10 years ago, I wanted this Hondo gun guitar, but I didn?t have $450 and it didn?t have pick-ups in it. But nonetheless, it was cool! I?ve always thought they were cool. So, my opportunity came 10 years later at $200 bucks! It?s made in Korea. It?s black and it?s pretty cool for what it is. I had originally came into the store to get the Wolf Ric copy, but after inspecting it and playing, I?d made the decision to get the M-16. It?s a bolt-on neck, but it seems well built for what it is. The ric just seemed like it was a set neck, it would just break very easily! And the ric was $350. I really didn?t wanna spend that much on a copy! I would spend that much on an Epi or something, but not that much on an unknown copy!

This M-16 guitar is a little hard to play because it has no body to it to rest your hand. I think that?s a drawback to it. As well as the volume and tone knobs on the pistol grip. That set-up is like that of a strat. And there?s no toggle switch, so that gets kinda confusing. It sounds alright! Nothing too spectacular.

139. Gibson Baldwin LP Signature Cherry Sunburst:  Got this 2 days after I got #138! Amazing! 138 is the number of the Wolf guitar! The next day, we go to Silverwood Lake recreational park on Route 138! Hmmmmmmmmm?..Yeah, it means nothing! My fianc?e bought this guitar for me. I was playing it in the store at Best Buy and thought it was pretty cool. Where can you get a cherry sunburst Les Paul for $149?!?! Well, actually, she didn?t spend that much, we got the guitar for $129.99 because it was the floor model. These are being discontinued and the floor model was in better condition than the one in the box! What do you expect? These things are made in China! I wasn?t expecting much, but it sounds alright! Now, I have a nice lookin? guitar and something I can jam on without playing my vintage guitars!

140. Yamaha SGV-800, black sparkle: I was lookin' for a guitar with a tremolo unit. I had originally planned to put a bigsby on my Les Paul, but I don't know. So I went to this pawn shop and they had some guitars I was lookin' at. I played a Wilson Bros. Ventures Mosrite copy. It was white with the German carve. It was cool, but I couldn't see playing $500 bucks for it.

I played a DiPinto guitar which looked like a Los Straightjackets Jaguar wannabe! It sounded really cheap!

I even played the Wilson Bros. Ventures white strat. That was a pc of shit!

There was this black tolex strat copy by Italia and that was pretty cheesy as well! I don't know about that place.

I even played this Squier strat that was $80 bucks and I couldn't even do a straight trade for my rifle gun guitar! Fuck those guys!!!

So I went to Tril Music in Riverside and got a better deal! That place is goin' outta bizness! The only really cool guitar was the Yamaha SGV copy that was a design from the 60's in Japan. It's got a weird Mosrite face shape and Parker Fly headstock thing going for it! The pickups sound really good, very loud! The tremolo is really cool! I'm very happy with this guitar!

2007
141. 1985 Rickenbacker 620/12 Mapleglo: Inspiration from Fred 'Sonic' Smith got me to get this guitar. I had originally tried to order this guitar from Musiciansfriend, but they were backordered and it just all seemed to be a big lie. So I went to GC and saw the Rick they had told me about and it just so happen to be the exact same guitar, just it was a 1985 instead of '86 and a 620 instead of a 640 which ain't even a model number for Rics. So of course, I wanted at least play the thing. It sounded really cool. I was only gonna get the fucker if I could get some finances for it and I was able to. So now I have the git! It's very cool! I'm happy with it. At first, I wasn't gettin' a case for it, and the mgr found the original case for it in the back. I just don't know why the fuck guitar stores are so hard up for guitar cases! What the fuck!??!?!?! I also got the fucker to gimme a set of strings and he went down on the price of the guitar from $1450 to $1300, so that was cool! But the tax brought it back up! Oh wells! I'll be payin' this fucker off in 6 months for the interest free! My first guitar for 2007!

142. 2007 Gibson Melody Maker worn white reissue: I?d seen this guitar on Musicians Friend site and wasn?t sure when it would be available. Well, it was and I decided to order it with free shipping and no tax. Not bad for $349. Came with papers and original box. Pretty damn cool. The finish which ain?t really a finish is white. It?s a January 12, 2007 guitar. I got it on March 15, 2007. Not bad. I?m probably gonna get a white coffin case for it. I think this will be the new Bonephone.

143. 2006 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop 1956 reissue with P90's: Just a cool guitar! I've always wanted a Goldtop and this was my opportunity and I took it. I traded up the Epiphone Olympic and the Rickenbacker 620. I had to! I wanted to! And I did! My first Gibson Goldtop! Probably not the last! I wanna get the Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop with mini-humbuckers! Soon!

144. 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom Cherry Sunburst: I traded up the Epi Wilshire for this. The Epi was very old and all original, but the frets were gettin' really hard to play. I wanted something new. I've always wanted a Custom and I got the op and took it. I probably could've gotten a better one, but this one is really cool. For a '78, it plays very good. The frets aren't too worn and there's a lot left on the frets. It's fuckin' heavy though. WOOO! I'll get used to it. It a beaut!

145. 2007 Fender Telecaster Joe Strummer model: I?d originally went to Guitar Center in Covina to find this Gretsch TK-300 solid body I?d seen a year ago. And yes, a year later, it was still there along with the 3 Epiphone Coronets that were still there. They didn?t seem to have a vintage room yet and now they do. The Gretsch was this natural wood finished solidbody with a hockey stick headstock and 2 crooked humbuckers. It looks so ugly that it?s cool. It did look like it hit by a bus. It?s been through some tough times being from the 70?s. The Epiphone I played was a Coronet batwing headstock guitar with 2 pickups that were replaced with Seymour Duncan mini-humbuckers. They sounded great the last time I was there. Upon further inspection of the guitar, it looks as though the guitar was refretted and there was a finish crack where the neck meets the body. Not good. It wouldn?t stay in tune. I was actually thinkin? about buying it @ $1099. I could?ve gotten the 12 months financing. So I was on the hunt for a Les Paul Junior as I?ve been for a long time. I?ve had the Gibson reissues from the 90?s that were cool, but never quite cut it. I also had the Epiphone reissues which were a joke. So I was just lookin? around because I hadn?t been to the store in a year and it?s in LA county. I saw this telecaster which looked like the Joe Strummer one. I picked it up and it was. It was the same price as catalog. I showed it to my wife and I told her I?d buy it for her. She said that I shouldn?t buy it unless it came with all of the stickers and stencils and shit! And it did! I got it and I got a gift card for $89 bucks! That was cool!

  146. 2003 Fender Telecaster American series white on black: This is a guitar my wife has owned for about 3 years now. She traded it to me for the Joe Strummer model because she feels that the guitar was too much for a gift. I?d figured that they are both hers. I?m listing this on my guitar list of guitars because of any kind of ownership; temporary, joint, whatever!

147. 2007 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior TV Yellow VOS: I?d really wanted a Les Paul Junior. I was finally able to get one in trade. I traded up the Goldtop for it. Straight up, which was really cool! This is a very cool guitar. It?s got everything that goes with it. All original!

148. 2007 Gibson Les Paul Nashville Junior: This is a limited run of 400 in worn white finish. I never saw it in Musiciansfriend. I didn?t notice it until I saw in it on eBay. So I checked MF at that time and saw that it was discontinued. Then I checked again and found that it wasn?t discontinued. So I ordered one. I didn?t plan to get this because I didn?t think I would get one before they ran out. I didn?t know I was gonna get the straight trade in Huntington Beach either for the real Junior. I?m cool! It came in today, Monday, December 24, 2007. Just in time! It came with a hard shell case which really surprised me because it said, ?gig bag? on the web page. And on top of that, I have some extra straplocks! WOO HOO! No mad rush to GC to buy anything! SWEET! This will be the best Xmas after all!

8 guitars for 2007

   149. E.F. Elliott Dove guitar: I have no information on this guitar. All I know is that E.F. Elliott was a luthier for Mosrite and Music Man and has been building guitars in Oklahoma. I?m guessin? his claim to fame is that he built a mandolin for the Chixie Dicks. The guitar is white and shaped like a dove. Has 3 black P-90 pickups, a wraparound tune-o-matic bridge and chrome Grover Imperial tuners. It?s a cool guitar and a straight up even trade for the Les Paul Custom. Oh well. The Custom wasn?t all original. It was very cool, but I?d traded up a guitar for it that was more expensive. What can you do!?!??!

Got a voicemail from EF Elliott. He told me that he'd built the guitar in 1999, 1 of 2 he'd built for the 2000 NAMM show. He also said that he'd built 7 in total. Pretty fuckin' cool to get in contact with the guy who'd built your guitar!!!

150. Jay Turser JT300m Strat copy in light tobacco finish: I was tryin' to trade the Dove guitar for a white Jazzmaster, but that fell through. I was so obsessed with tryin' to trade and trade for this guitar and the guy just didn't seem interested. I almost offered the Jr. That would've been a disaster. So with the advise from my lovely beautiful wife, she advised me to get a cheap guitar and just take it apart and put it back together. Learn more about fixing, repairing and everything about guitars so that one day I could do my own repairs, build my own guitars. It all makes sense. There's no reason why I can't do this. There are 'build your own' kits out there. I'm gonna learn with this guitar which sounds really good, by the way, and probably soup it up with newer pickups and hardware just to make it my own! A new project for me for 2008 and probably for now on.
